The Trim Levels

There are six trim levels available for the Ford SuperDuty which are the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. Merrill drivers can get any of these as an extended cab, regular cab, or crew cab. Depending on the trim level, there are three engine types you can choose to have. The XL models are the base trucks that come with the standard features only. Getting the XLT will upgrade you to some better comforts such as the SYNC® 3 Infotainment System. If you get the Lariat, it has more room. The Platinum has a power tailgate, while the Limited has a sunroof. Should you go with the King Ranch, you will get a heated leather steering wheel.

The Featured Specifications

The standard engine is a 6.2L V8 flex-fuel engine that has 385 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. Also, you have a six-speed automatic shiftable transmission. The payload is 4,170 pounds with an impressive towing capacity of 15,000 pounds. Plus, you get painted 17-inch steel wheels for your all-season tires. A matching spare is mounted underneath the body of the truck.

Other Important Features

Other features include a manual four-way adjustable driver and passenger seats, heated mirrors and engine immobilizer. Most of the important technology that is on the Ford SuperDuty has to do with the safety mechanisms. Those are stability control, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, child seat anchors, and a rearview camera. Each trim level comes with more features Minocqua drivers can continue to add on to make your comfort level right.
