The all-new Ford Explorer at Langlade Ford introduces an Adaptive LED lighting system, providing better illumination of the road ahead and making it easier for drivers in Antigo, WI to see potential hazards.

The new system uses advanced software to automatically adjust the light beam pattern in response to driving conditions, enabling the headlamps to improve visibility without dazzling oncoming traffic.

The Adaptive LED lighting system uses 40 individually controlled LEDs, which are grouped into four clusters. At low speeds and when driving through corners, the system can illuminate only a narrow-illuminated area in front of the vehicle to help improve visibility in difficult driving conditions.

When traveling at higher speeds or on straightaways, all light clusters work together to provide a wide, bright light beam that improves the driver's field of vision.

The new headlamp system also features LED daytime running lamps and signature lighting elements that give the Explorer a modern, distinctive look. In addition, the headlamps are flanked by LED fog lamps that help improve visibility in poor weather conditions.
