With 350 horsepower surging though a light and compact hatchback body, it doesn't get much better than the Focus RS. But as the current-generation Focus nears its end, Ford wanted to give the fans exactly that—something better.
There will only be 1,500 vehicles in production of the limited-run 2018 Focus RS, and it may be well worth putting in an application for one. In response to common feature requests made by fans, Ford added carbon fiber to the cockpit. The roof, mirror caps, and spoiler are a gorgeous contrasting black that highlights the model's aggressive stance. It's available in race red.
The most important upgrade, if you're tracking the car (and why wouldn't you be?) is the new mechanical Quaife® limited-slip differential. This differential better distributes torque to allow for better traction through corners, which translates to more confidence, and sliced time.
