Ford has announced a new addition to its family of police vehicles.
As reported by AutoNews.com, Ford has plans to release the "Police Responder," a police-focused version of the soon-to-release 2018 Ford F-150. In addition to an expected collection of police features, the Police Responder will come with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine capable of 375 horsepower and 470 pounds-feet of torque. It will also have a towing capacity of 7,000 pounds, 100 MPH max speed, and a 132 cubic feet of rear storage space.
While the Police Responder is likely to excite many in the law enforcement world, the commercial 2018 F-150 has already been a source of anticipation for civilian truck owners. As with previous years, the new F-150 is expected to launch with range of model and engine options available.
