Hands-Free Controls in the Ford Taurus

With all the great high-tech features in modern cars, there's a lot of ways to get distracted on the road. Luckily, Ford has made it possible to stay focused on your travels without sacrificing connectivity or comfort in the new Taurus. This popular full-sized sedan has voice-recognition software that lets you take control of the onboard infotainment system without taking your hands off the wheel.

The Ford Taurus is available at Langlade Ford with the SYNC 3 system. This piece of equipment utilizes a touchscreen display and has a number of preloaded applications. It's also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Once connected, you can press the designated voice command button on the steering wheel to make calls, control media, and more.

The system is also compatible with Amazon Alexa. There's support for over 45,000 skills. Most of them can be controlled with voice commands. Drivers in Antigo will be able to do things like get traffic information about a navigational route or set up dinner reservations.
